Geecrack "Mary I Love You" Top Water Walking Bait (Ltd Edition) - Pre-Order

This one goes WAY back… before Geecrack was even Geecrack.

Years ago, Aoki was having drinks with a man who had been involved with River2Sea. 🍻 They were talking, laughing and throwing around ideas, and somehow one of those ideas became this bait.

Only 8,000 were made, all with individual serial numbers.

We recently found the last 200.

The cool part is the story behind it.

The man Aoki made this with was someone he really looked up to, both as a lure builder and a businessman. His passion for making things was something Aoki had never seen before.

Aoki could tell him an idea, and a few days later he would come back with the real thing. At the time, Aoki thought the guy was basically a magician.

Aoki still says that if he had never met him, he might never have gotten into lure manufacturing himself.

That experience became a big part of Geecrack — having an idea in your head and figuring out how to actually make it.

And this bait is probably one of the best examples of the other side of that story.

Two guys having some drinks, laughing and coming up with something kind of stupid just because it was fun. 😂

That’s always been part of bass fishing for us. Sometimes you don’t need to take it so seriously. Try something weird, make something different and have fun with it.

I guess that’s NO ENJOY, NO FISH before we even had the words for it.
