Shimano Sahara Rear Drag Spinning Reel

Sahara Rear Drag is the first-ever rear drag option in the Sahara lineup. Featuring Fightin' Lever II, the Sahara will allow anglers to make incredibly easy adjustments to the drag setting while fighting fish. 
 
Fightin' Drag
The Shimano Fightin' Drag offers adjustable drag on the fly when reeling in fish. Utilizing an easy-to-adjust lever, the drag can be switched between a low drag setting before hooking the fish and quickly transitioned during the fight.
 
Propulsion Line Management System
The most obvious component of the Propulsion Line Management System is the new Propulsion Spool Lip design. Through tens of thousands of casting tests and computer simulations, Shimano’s new spool lip design provides longer casting distances than a standard spool lip design while also preventing backlashes and wind knots from forming.
